The Tennis BC Senior Women’s Tennis Association was formed in 1988 to oversee participation in all senior women’s events sponsored by Tennis BC, the PNW/USTA and Tennis Canada. Membership includes all active women members of Tennis BC in good standing, who have attained the age of 35 years.
The objectives of the BCSWTA are:
- To promote interest and enjoyment of the game of tennis
- To organize tennis events
- To encourage participation in tournaments and team events
- To safeguard the interests of senior women players
- To promote friendliness and sportsmanship among players.
BCSWTA Amica Grand Prix was a huge sucess!
We
owe many thanks to The Arbutus Club our generous
host for the BCSWTA 2011 Amica Grand Prix tennis
tournament this past weekend, December 8th - 11th. Many of B.C's top
senior women's tennis players "got their game on". Players
and spectators were treated to four great days of terrific tennis
including many thrilling tiebreak decisons. Special thanks to our
title sponsor Amica
at Arbutus Manor
and to Moor Spa and Dexter and Associates Realty for helping make
the tournament such a great success and we appreciate their continued
support of Women's tennis in B.C.
Also, a big thank you to the many volunteers who helped keep this
tournament organized and on time.

2012 Ladysport Doubles Championships, to be held at the Jericho
Tennis Club, March 2nd - 4th, 2012. Look for the Tournament information
